Why We Built This Site
Oregon gives the public access to many nonexempt public records, while court records also follow court-specific rules under Oregon Judicial Department systems and ORS Chapter 7. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. Umatilla County Circuit Court handles felony, misdemeanor, civil, family, probate, traffic, and violation case records in Pendleton and Hermiston. The Umatilla County Records Office handles recorded instruments and marriage records. The Sheriff's Office manages jail and sheriff records, while city courts such as Hermiston Municipal Court keep their own local court files. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.
